Kennywood is a Pittsburgh cultural Mecca. Every family makes the pilgrimage here each summer. It’s not a good place to drag around a DSLR, at least not if you want to ride anything. I used my iPod touch. I am using the HDR setting here. It did a nice job with the lit interior of the milk bottle toss midway attraction. I’m not a big fan of the HDR “effect.” It’s like autotune; once you realize what it is, you see it everywhere, and it becomes a cliche. Here, I think it is put to good use protecting highlights and shadows in a situation where it would be very difficult to do so in a single exposure. The HDR tells are minimal.
