The last of the autumn leaves are falling. The Norway maples (Acer platanoides) are among the last to drop. Their large, bright yellow leaves cover the forest floor here. Norway maples are not native to North America, but they do show a lovely yellow. Image taken with a Nikon D90 and the Micro-Nikkor 60mm AF.
