I had so much fun with water drops yesterday, and it rained again today, that I took another picture of raindrops. This time the drops are on a very green spicebush leaf. Post-processing was done in Aperture. As yesterday, the principal tool used was the Levels brick to increase the tonal range on the various color bands. I ran it through a black and white filter preset, as yesterday, but it didn’t pan out. I think the red of yesterday’s poppy works better than the green of today. The green tends to turn dark in black and white conversion; the red tends to fade to light gray.
