I just can’t stop myself from taking pictures of these asters and the insects that are desperately gathering the last of the fall nectar and pollen. I sometimes feel like I am in a rut with another post of flowers or another post of insects. But then I recall the long, long winter of colorless, still landscapes. I’ll enjoy the riot of color while I can. Frost could come any day now, though the immediate forecast looks good. Taken with Micro-Nikkor 60mm AF.
