Playing around with a long exposure night shot. There is a great deal of ambient light from my neighbors, so it looks like a daylight shot at first. But there are stars. The stars are more impressive at a larger image size. I took this right out front of my house, laying the camera on the step. The trees, the house, the lamp and myself seem to all be leaning into the shot, as though peering at the camera to see if it is hurt. This was taken with Nikon D90 and Tokina 11-16mm. No HDR or anything, just routine Aperture tweaks. I did boost the saturation on the blue sky because I like a blue sky! 20-second exposure, allowing the camera to select exposure time while on Program mode.
