I titled this “New Autumn Hillside” because it’s new to me. Thanks to some recently cut trees, I can see this hillside from my backyard. I could not see it before the loss of the trees. It happens to catch light from the setting sun quite nicely on a fall evening. Taken with a Nikkor 70-300mm AF-S ED VR Nikon telephoto lens.I’m cheating a tad on my One Photo a Day. The image shown in this post was taken a day later than the date of the post. I took the very same shot on the proper day, but I was a tad late and lost the golden light. The next evening everything repeated with more favorable timing, so I have chosen to post the better image.
